Customised No name Randy Rhodes Off set V.
The Body was re-sprayed in a Deep red, a black swirl graphic was applied and then the gun metal silver swirls, topped off with white shine spots.
The neck had airbrushed flames applied straight to the wood, diamond mother of pearl inlaid and a Rosewood and aluminium DD logo at the twelth fret, then sealed in a thick clearcoat lacquer.
The Pick ups were adjustable poled Super distortion humbuckers at the bridge and neck.
The bridge was a fully adjustable top mounted schaller, Kahler style tremelo system.
A real hard hitting guitar with loads of grunt and grit & good clear gain driven sustain. Rock !!!

Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Custom stratocaster.
Vintage cream Nitro body, reverse headstock, maple neck, jumbo fretwire.
The body was re-sprayed for the client in a lovely vintage cream nitro, the neck was stripped back to wood and re-finished in a vintage yellowed lacquer.
The neck was re-fretted using Jumbo gauge fret wire, leveled and crowned.
The pick up covers and control knobs were also in the vintage cream to match the body.
The only thing missing from this guitar was the neck scallops to really malmsteen this Fender strat up! Still a beautiful Tribute guitar to our legendary Yngwie Malmsteen.

Hardtail bridge.
The graphic was taken from a 1970's mens magazine and the proportions are real!!! I know, thats why I added her to this guitar; to turn heads.

Fender Mexican stratocaster, ' Spawn of the Hippy '.
Customised with a cream paint job and hand painted in a unique highly detailed 1960's inspired theme.
Produced for Chris Coombes Aka FUZZY.

Unknown maker 5 string bass.
A lovely solid wood body adorned with active soap bar pick ups.
The headstock was a really ugly shape so I reshaped and re-finished it to match the body.
The neck had an inactive truss rod which normally would prove a real awkward instrument to sell but to my surprise a Jazz Funk Fusion musician found this to be a perfect defect for his own playing style.

Sunn Mustang custom, a budget guitar customised with a devilish graphic.
Re-sprayed in a Pearlescent red with the graphic applied on top and then clear coated.
A strat copy guitar built on a budget and sold with a budget in mind, a guitar for the beginner.

Washburn G2 Custom Pimp! Originally a battered red paint finish and definately in need of a respray. The Client decided upon an extreme hand painted graphic of flames made up of highly detailed shapes and skulls. Re-finished in a Nitro-cellulose black with the graphic applied on top. The neck was also upgraded and customised with a new ebony fretboard with mother of pearl engraved paisely shapes, the twelth fret had two skull and crossbones in mother of pearl .
Seymour Duncan pick ups were installed along with a Hardtail bridge,schaller straplocks and sperzel machineheads.

Simon & Patrick 12 string, I purchased this guitar Brand New for £ 50 from a shop in Demark street London with the instruction that the truss rod was inactive....well by the time I had got it home on the train it was working just fine.
I re-strung it with a set of twelve string Martin strings and adjusted the truss rod and WOW what a stunning guitar, it had the lowest action, warm tone and amazing treble response. This is a Spruce series and finished in a satin clear. I fitted a Piezo pick up and pre-amp and played it until my fingers hurt. Stunning and a real Bargain, thank god for that incorrect diagnosis!!

Fender Bullet Abstract custom. The Client had been on a trip to belgium and had seen a wall that had been painted by an artist in these colours, he loved it so much that he decided to have it on his bullet.
We firstly re-sprayed it in an olympic white, masked off the divider lines using micro tape and then applied the colours to each section.Finally clear coated using a Nitro clear.

Custom built Archtop. The Client had had this guitar custom built for him by an ex Gibson employee now making guitars for himself.
Unfortunately the client hated the thick orange poly finish so decided to have a vintage burst nitro re-finish.
Firstly we had to strip the entire guitar back to wood which was a challenge in itself, re-seal the grain and apply the new vintage sunburst finish in nitro cellulose.

Ibanez Bass Muse tribute. This guitar was a chrismas present from a mother to her son, she supplied the picture and the bass, Deadlight Designs did the rest.
As the guitar was a black finish currently we were able to use this as the background for the graphic. I marked out the graphic and started to apply whisps of colour using an airbrush. Finally the lightening bolts and glow balls were added to finish it off as per the Muse album cover.
All sealed with a Poly-urethane clear coat , re-built, set up, packed and sent back to the client.Lovely.

Fender stratocaster upgrade.
A workhorse strat used for studio recording. The client wanted something new to play with so bought himself a fernandes sustainer. Deadlight Guitars fitted the sustainer along with a single coil sized stacked humbucker at the bridge. The sustainer unit was installed under the scratchplate for quick access to the micro swiches.

Fender Mustang, Originally in Daphne blue, the client wanted a black respray in nitro-cellulose of which we obliged . The only other thing that needed changing was the white scratchplate to a black 3 ply version of which we cut ourselves to ensure a better than the original fit, which was a bit gappy.

A Custom built Firebird body, built to fit an exsisting hockey stick headstocked neck. We were provided with the scale and dimensions to ensure a solid fit.
Built from American white ash and finished in a nitro olympic white.
Routed for one bridge humbucker, one volume control and a floyd rose unit.

A Bc Rich Iron Bird, custom finished in a Neon green, Diamond mother of pearl inlays and a metal flake bevelled body edge.
A hair raising Hair metal axe not for the faint hearted.
Set up with 9-42 guage strings.

Rickenbacker Whaam Paul weller tribute guitar.
Originally an all black ricki with all original hardware, pups and plates etc.
We resprayed the front in a baby / sky blue colour and applied the graphics using masking film, an air brush and hand painting.
The back has also got a white Xits graphic ala Paul wellers own ricki! We also produced clear pick guards like Paul Wellers own Whaam Rickenbacker. This is the closest version to Pauls original that I've seen!

Gibson Flying V, a rare version with the firebird hockey stick headstock, this guitar was badly broken at the headstock and had seen better days, dents and dings galore.
We resprayed it in an off white yellowed nitro paint and a vintage lacquer to keep it's original colour scheme and aged look.
All original hardware including a Kahler flyer top mounted tremelo bridge.

Fender Jazz Bass guitar originally finished in a opaque amber milky polyurethane..YUK, so we stripped it back to wood as per our clients spec and re-finished it with a dark walnut trans aged nitro lacquer.
We also upgraded the stock fender pick ups to Dimarzio direct replacement pick ups with plenty more attack and tone. Much better...

Fender Jaguar Kurt Cobain tribute build, firstly we built a 24 inch scale neck, bound and aged, clay dots and a 7.5" radius.
We then moved onto the body, this was a badly built ash jaguar body with a few badly routed customisations along the way, once we had repaired the damaged areas we re-finished it in a vintage sunburst ala Kurt Cobains own Jaguar. We also cut a Tortoise shell scratchplate to fit perfectly and job done.

Ibanez Roadstar Samurai Custom.
We re-sprayed this guitar in an olympic white and applied the red sun rays all in Nitro cellulose and finished it all in a Nitro clear.
We upgraded the pick ups with a pair of Seymour Duncan P Rails and push pull potentiometers.
We also fitted an original Ibanez bridge that needed some repairing and off she went back to her now proud owner.

Custom built Rickenbacker 4005 bass guitar.
Our client wanted to use the neck of an exsisting japaneze rickenbacker copy bass guitar, so we removed this and started building the new chambered body around that neck.
Built in two halves the top being maple and the bottom mahogany of which we chambered to Rickenbacker specs.
Finished in a nitro olympic white and a stone roses pick guard. We also customised and modified some guitar rickenbacker parts to fit this bass.

Gibson dot, a simple job really, the white matt finish with a matt black stripe was already applied, all we had to do was re-finish the black strip sections to a gloss black finish as requested by our client.
We also rebuilt and set up the guitar for our client.

Custom built carved top Les Paul guitar.
Solid basswood body which was hand carved with this unique skull and flame. We then airbrushed the carving with green flame graphics and the skull in a cream bone type colour.
Fitted with a stealth P90 pick up cleverly mounted from the back, the pole pieces are exposed through the upper jaw line.
A hard rock maple neck which is glued in with grover machineheads. Stunning...

Epiphone Flying V conversion.
The client had redesigned his sons V to this obscure triangular shape, once we had seen the design we took on he challenge of modifying his guitar.
The horns were cut off and reshaped along with the neck joint which had to flow effortlessly into the body.
We also cut a new longer scratch plate which follows the original lines.Resprayed in gloss black and fitted with seymour duncan pick ups, a graphite nut and new roller bridge.Although it looks a little strange it played and sounded fantastic.

Custom built 'Jez Paul', Les Paul guitar.
Mahogany body and neck construction, ebony fretboard, off set dot markers.
The top is a book matched quilted maple stained in an electric blue and black burst merging with the back and sides.
The neck was a very thin modern Wizard profiled neck with a Jackson shaped headstock.
Installed with Blade Humbuckers and a Roller bridge, string through and extreme ease neck joint for high fret shredding. A Metalists Ultimate guitar!

Fender Telecaster.
Originally finished in an opaque peach colour the client wanted it stripped back to wood and re-finished in the Broadcaster opaque yellowed nitro finish.
We rebuilt and set up this guitar ready for collection.
The Client was very pleased with his now more appealing guitar.
